  • Silence

    Silence
They say if the speech is silver
    Then silence is gold.
But, your silence is not gold; fainting heartbeats of a dying man,
A homeless in the street corner,
Trees on the drought sicken land would not
    Make a sound.
    Hello!
Beware of the dumb soul that sneaks,
    Brewing vicious plot,
    up to something. Like a
Quite, drawn back person that would betrays us.
    Speech
    Is freedom, triumphant, expression while
Silence is dull, suppression and mournful.
Silence of you is weak, dead, and spooky like
    A graveyard
With its early morning mist. Speech is way
Lovers communicate and create bond. Crashing waves,
Falling raindrops and whistling wind is how nature speaks.
Silence from you is venoms that eat me from within
And drowns me in my own love for you. And
Your silence is a noose around my neck that
I could hardly get freed from.

  • refugee

Born refugee then to die refugee would be a disgrace.
So I take this fight personally,
this war to my heart and battle passionately.
I want to be in my own country
    within my own boundary.
When i get home, I ll smear my forehead with
the soil drenched in the blood of my brave countrymen.
Mixture of flesh and bone of their scarfice.
Then, like Indians I would dance around the fire to
awake the silent soul to evoke the courage.
And I shall speak to the mountains who' ve seen it all.
    O! holy spirit
I shall take this campaign to the next level
Coz, we got distances to travel.
Once again rivers would be turning red.
    Bodies would be dropped; lifeless.But,
    they won't be ours.
We shall drive the enemy out
that's for sure without a doubt.
And this time we shall emerge victorious.
So, my compatriots pack your bag
We would be going home soon.
